| Ned Frisk is a Northwest based photographer and artist. He works closely with the trees and with nature, seeking out scenes that are not only unique and inspiring, but offer the imagination an opportunity to sit and rest there for a moment. Letting the viewer feel as though they can enter the scene and explore. Lighting is a critical element of his imagery as well. Coming from a commercial photography background, Ned's skill at lighting scenes invokes a particular feel, or presence, and through this skill set, he has developed a sensitivity to light. He has learned to find light in nature that, when combined with the composition, can appear almost painterly. As if a scene from a dream. Often times the light captured exists only for a moment, and then the scene fades to something more familiar. Much of the imagery was shot during the low light of dawn and dusk, or during storms, or transitions between storms. Words from Ned: "Thank you, to all those who come to see.
